Information Processed Temporarily

When you use PixelKit's features, your data is processed temporarily to provide the requested service:

• Image Edit — Images are edited entirely on your device using local processing. Crop, rotate, filters, stickers, and drawing are all performed locally.
• Image Compression — Images are compressed locally on your device. No content is sent to external servers.
• Format Conversion — Images are converted between formats (PNG, JPG, WebP, BMP, GIF) entirely on your device.
• Collage — Images are combined into collages locally. No content leaves your phone.
• Image Enhancement — Images are enhanced using AI super-resolution models running locally on your device. No content is sent to external servers.
• Watermark Removal — Images and mask data are transmitted to Replicate's AI API for inpainting, then returned to you immediately.

Third-Party Services

Replicate AI API

PixelKit uses Replicate's API to power the AI watermark removal feature. When you use this feature, your images are transmitted to Replicate's servers, processed by AI models (LaMa), and the result is returned to you. Replicate does not retain your content after processing.

Google Play Billing

If you make in-app purchases, payment information is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details. Google Play's privacy policy applies to all billing information, and purchase records are maintained by Google, not us.

No Other Third Parties

We do not integrate any analytics tools, advertising networks, or other third-party tracking services.

How We Use Your Data

Since we don't collect or store data, we cannot use it for any purpose beyond providing immediate services. Your data is processed only to fulfill your immediate request, transmitted securely to Replicate's API only for watermark removal, not stored on our servers, not used for analytics or marketing, and not used to train AI models.

Data Security

While we don't store your data, we take security seriously. All data transmitted between your device and Replicate's servers is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS protocols. We don't store sensitive data on your device beyond the output files you choose to save, and we don't require account creation, eliminating password-related risks.

Your Rights and Choices

What You Control

You decide what content to input into the app. You can uninstall the app at any time. Since we don't create accounts or store data, there is nothing to delete on our end.

Data Requests

Since we don't collect or store personal data, there is no data to access, correct, or delete. We cannot provide data portability or fulfill data deletion requests. For questions about how Replicate handles your data, please contact Replicate directly.

Children's Privacy

PixelKit does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since we don't collect any data at all, the app can be used by anyone. However, parental supervision is recommended for minors, and children should not input personal information into the app.

International Data Transfers

When you use the AI watermark removal feature in PixelKit, your data is transmitted to Replicate's servers, which may be located worldwide. All transfers are protected by encryption and handled according to Replicate's data processing standards.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features, changes in legal requirements, or updates to third-party services. When we make changes, the "Last Updated" date will be revised, significant changes will be communicated through the app, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Legal Compliance

We comply with applicable privacy laws including GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection regulations. Since we don't collect data, most data protection obligations don't apply, but we maintain full transparency about how your data flows through our app and third-party services.

When using PixelKit, please don't input highly sensitive personal information, credentials, passwords, or financial data into images processed by AI features. Understand that the watermark removal feature transmits data to Replicate's servers for processing. Review Replicate's privacy policy if you have concerns about cloud processing.
